Have you read Scott Pilgrim books? Any comments or suggestions?

Hi everyone!

I have recently seen the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, based on the comic books with the same title.

I have liked the movie very much, and I have even bought the videogame in the XBLA service, to go deeper into the nice and surrealistic world created by Bryan Lee O'Malley, which seems to have all I can ask to a fiction work.

Does anyone have read the books? If so, should I get them in order to enjoy the story in the best possible way? I heard that the movie is a very good adaptation to the books, but I guess I will be missing a lot of good details if I finally don't read them. Am I right? Have you any suggestions or answers to my question?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I've read all of the books. The movie was very faithful to the books, but I thought it was much better as a comic (although I enjoyed the movie).

If you like the movie you should love the comics. Start from the beginning. A lot of the story will be familiar from the movie, but it goes deeper.

Thanks for your comment. I have seen the whole collection for 45 in Barcelona, where I live. I will save some cash to buy the books as soon as possible. I am sure that I will enjoy the reading.

I will try to post my opinion once I read them all!

The World is a critically-acclaimed foremost action picture based upon the creative graphic novel series.
