Felyne Fighters with Flute and Guard Percentage Up Skills is great for distracting the main monster while you destroy it from the back. The best long sword you can get in the early stages of the game is the iron katana, then gather more ore and upgrade it! Got a weapon that is called Iron Katana "Gospel" and until the 1st Blagonga mission it was the only thing i had to use.

for some good armour i would suggest conga armour when you're in lvl 2 quests i used that type of armour untill lvl 4 quests when i started to collect items to make basarios armour. also a good comrade skill is health flute as it got me out of pickles (lol) when i would fight wyverns. I would say always gather pokke points as you may get extra items needed for those important weapon upgrades from the farms resourses.My favourite weapon (so far) is the wyvern blade *leaf* which i made by upgrading bone kantana *wolf* over and over again.

any tips for a monster hunter player whos getting unite on thursday?
the tips i do know are get iron katana gospel and to get mega demondrug easily just keep doing first kut ku mission to get all items from the elder(soz i dont know area since i dont have it yet :S

once you get level four quests go after the monoblos, when you fight it start with the head to break his horn (this is the only way to get blood red horn from him) nextgo for the tail (you can skin this 2x) then finish him. get his armer and if your a greatsword person you want the helberd and long sword get the monoblos scyth....

and i got a Q? for any one who can answer how do you get your Hr level up?

If you are into using the dual blades as I am, do some of the beginner mission in the training area to get small bones for an upgrade to the bone scythe

Do all the quests in the level 3 type in offline gathering hall

I'm trying to find out what qwests but u have to do guild qwests so do 1* then 2* then 3* then u will get hr up and u will get more qwests

in order to lvl up ur HR u must do most of the quests from lvl 1,2 and 3 quests and will receive an urgent quest once u complete it u get lvl 4 quests and hr 2

well you have to wear different types of armour to get your hr level up and lol make sure you wear the full set. hr is what again though? just to make sure i think your talking about health right?

Yea U go to the Gathering Hall and do these Missions:HR 1 to HR 2

- Giadrome Assault (Hunt the Giadrome)
- The Land Shark (Hunt the Cephadrome)
- The Lurking Desert Giant (Hunt the Daimyo Hermitaur)

yer go in to the gathering hall and do all the quests in 3 star and then keep going after each star is complete you do the urgant quest and you get your HR up if you complete it good luck

To raise your Hr do gathering hall quests.

if u want get ur HR up then do the multiplayer quests
