My third best game of the year is the big release from Ubisoft this year.
Yes, that's right - it's I Am Alive!
If publishers abandoned bloated, overlong games, and produced sub-8 hour games for download at 20 bucks apiece, I'd be delighted.
This was one of those games - short, not so sweet, and introducing interesting mechanics (limited ammo, bluffing) that made the game interesting and new, and also fun to play. Well, fun is an exaggeration - it was a grim struggle from beginning to end, but it was excellent in a lot of ways, and has stayed with me since I played it in March.
Number #3 with a bullet. Wait, I've run out....
