Seems like the second circle pad has to be integrated into the 3DS rather sooner than later since it will also be supported by Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid and Kingdom Hearts 3.
Ok, so it's not a peripheral idea of Monster Hunter exclusively but a feature some publishers wanted and Nintendo simply forgot.
