Thanks gamevet - is there some reason why some units are more susceptible than others? I mean , what (fails to) cause the board to warp underneath - despite the epidemic, the breakdowns just seem so arbitrary and random.

If an internal problem is so endemic, why have many people managed to emerge unscathed whilst others (like poor dingohasgotmybaby) have experienced two breakdowns simultaneously?
