Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
I finally wrapped up Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door last night - after starting it, putting it down for nearly a year, and then starting back up where I left off - and I have to say that I'm quite pleased with the experience as a whole. It was surprising to see that I had spent nearly 50 hours soldiering through this one. Never once - in spite of all the fetching and turn based battling - did it feel like work (except maybe when trying to delve into the 100 level dungeon thing). Having said that, I think it was the humor that really carried this game. Had it not been as entertaining stylistically, I might have never come back to wrap it up!
Excellent game for those of you who haven't played it! And the first game I've played in awhile that actually rewarded me with a decent ending!
