Re: Please rate this review: Remember Me

Now that I've finished the game, really good review :)

Agree with a lot of what you say. I didn't have a huge amount of trouble with the combos (*blows on fingernails, shines them on lapel of...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Quelle surprise! Remember Me (PS3) is a pretty great game.

It got universally mediocre reviews but I thought I'd try it as it was a PS+ freebie a while back and I'm desperate to play a decent...

Re: Dark Souls 2

Well it sounds like the worst piece of DLC in the history of mankind:

Re: What are you playing right now?

Put a few hours into Shadowrun Returns (PC). Liking the atmosphere and writing a lot (though some typos and misspellings detract a small bit). Absolutely clueless as to the RPG elements, so have...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

I completed Pigsy's Perfect 10 DLC for Enslaved, several years after buying it. In fact I had to re-buy Enslaved for a fiver in order to play it.

It was good, pretty good in fact. Puzzle...

Re: Good deals, sales, and stuff

They must be launching the streaming game thing in the US soon, hold off and get a PS4* and you'll be able to play those games anyway. :p

* Do not buy a PS4. Not now at any rate....

Re: What are you playing right now?

Aaaargh.

I've been playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PS+ freebie).

I'm conflicted. I'm only playing it because it is the most appealing game in my console queue. It's decent from an...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Nice, how long does it take to complete a race in F12012?

I have finished Metro: Last Light (PS3). Exceptional environments, reasonable story (which unravelled a bit at the end, which seemed a...

Re: Good deals, sales, and stuff

Papo & Yo (ps3) is 99c this weekend on the playstation store for our American cousins.

You would be INSANE not to pick it up for that price

Re: What are you playing right now?

I'm playing Metro: Last Light, which was a PS+ freebie a while back.

I'm enjoying it, it's more like a movie with occasional bits of FPS mixed in. Stealth is completely overpowered on Normal,...

Re: Spain in the ass

Where is LordFarid? :P

Arg v Ned was a bit of a downer alright; not too bad though, I enjoyed the tactical battle and didn't mind who went through in the end. The final will be interesting.

Re: Dark Souls 2

I don't think I'll get it either. My brother is still playing through it (at the Shrine of Amana) and it's reminding me what a slog it was.

Re: Spain in the ass

Glad to see Brazil get eliminated, they were stinking up the whole tournament. Retribution was sweet.

Holland should be too strong for Argentina this evening but anything could happen. Enjoying...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

PS It uses Uplay; I didn't have to sign up for, or log into this on console (I could just ignore it), but it may be different for PC. I don't know.

Re: What are you playing right now?

Tried playing Shadow of the Colossus again; the mechanics have defeated me for the second time. I didn't even get past the first Colossus this time (last time I got to #2).

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Hmm, I would recommend it, I think, but bear some things in mind.

It's a simplistic puzzle-platformer with a pretty great art style, as you can see from the screenshots. Gameplay consists of...

Re: Spain in the ass

Latest odds

Brazil 13/5
Germany 13/5
Argentina 5/2
Holland 7/2

Very surprised to see the Netherlands taking up the rear there, as they are obviously the best team left in the...

Re: What are you playing right now?

I'm having trouble finding something to play that actually catches my attention. I decided to play a bit more Demon's Souls on PS3 with the PS4 controller now that it works, but it doesn't work for...

Re: 50 games in 2014

Fourteen games is pretty impressive, you have to admit. It's only not impressive when you compare it to the 26 games you should have played by now, which isn't really a fair comparison! :)

I see...

Re: Spain in the ass

Someone will emerge. It's not that hard finding a keeper if the defence is decent :)

The two QFs so far have been pretty underwhelming. I've been more or less done with football this last couple...

Re: What are you playing right now?

FINALLY

Got Harem Multiball on Tales of the Arabian Nights, completing the standard table goals. At least I've got that monkey off my back. At long last!

Re: Spain in the ass

The USA are a good team. They usually qualify for the WC and once there they outplay their talent level. I hope they do well, and they have a good chance of beating Belgium who have flattered to...

Re: What are you playing right now?

I just can't make that shot with any consistency, I don't know what's wrong with me! Tried for a whole hour yesterday and the most I got was 4/5. Grrrr.

Hmm, it might. I'll have a look,...
