Re: Suggest an album.

I really enjoyed that last NIN tour...the visual stage effects were incredible.

Re: Just picked up "The Witcher: Enhanced Edition"

I'm actually early on in the game right now. Really, really good so far and like NeoRanger, I am not a big RPG fan. I love the fact that you are NOT playing as some larger than life hero out to save...

Re: Games that drop in Fall 2009

Most definitely Brutal Legend. Probably Assassin's Creed 2, as well. There are some others, but I'm more likely to get them for PC.

Re: Wii = Casual

The Wii is going to remain a more casual-oriented console unless/until companies start releasing something other than mini-game collections for it.

Re: EA Files Suit Against Bank Robber John Dillinger's Estate

The estate had already told EA they would sue unless they were handed a check for several million dollars.

Re: Anyone recommend a turned based game?

I totally missed the sidebar about the Olympic team. The first sort of 'tryout' camp actually just finished up.

Re: Disney buys Marvel for $4 billion

Keeping in mind that the new Disney management team seems to have a clue...this isn't the Disney of the Eisner years. They aren't obsessed with melting everything in to one mass corporation, they...

Re: Disney buys Marvel for $4 billion

I don't think the characters will be affected. Disney's looking for IPs for content for their TV networks and movies...the last thing they want to do is wreck those characters before they can use...

Re: Unsung games you liked.

Genghis Khan II for the Genesis was a great one...my personal favorite of those old school Koei strategy titles.

Also, Toejam & Earl for the Genesis. Sort of a 3D adventure game with you looking...

Re: Why did you pick your avatar?

It's Henry Rollins, who I've seen do spoken word performances on 5 occasions and enjoyed every time.

And he's screaming, which I've been known to do on occasion. :D

Re: Suggest an album.

Powder Burns by The Twilight Singers...a pretty good guitar rock band. They did some music for the show Rescue Me, which is where I got in to their stuff. There isn't really a standout track on the...

Re: What do you listen to while gaming?

Either XM Online (Opie & Anthony if they're on, otherwise a music station) or my music collection on shuffle.

Re: New People, Please Introduce Yourselves

I guess I'll start. :D Qikdraw told me about this place on another forum, so I figured I'd check it out. I'm primarily a PC gamer, but I also own a 360. Oh, and I'm an absolute sports nut.

Re: Microsoft "destroyed development culture" at FASA - Weisman

Yep, same as with Activision unloading all their crap subsidiaries in to Sierra, then shutting down Sierra entirely.

Re: EA: Expect PlayStation 3.5 before PS4

Sims fans need self control...it's really that simple. Don't want to pay for it? Well then...don't pay for it. :D

EA has actually started playing it smart with transaction games. BF Heroes is...

Re: Inglorious Bastards

Planet Terror was fantastic fun cheeze...it was the Robert Rodriguez half, so if you like his other 'over the top' stuff, you'll probably like it.

Death Proof...ugh. Tarantino at his egotistical...

Re: Anyone recommend a turned based game?

Jagged Alliance 2 is an absolute classic...I can't recommend that game enough. Once you get a little experience with it, definitely grab the fan made 1.13 patch...it adds a bunch of content (and...

Re: EA: Expect PlayStation 3.5 before PS4

For me, it depends on the situation. IF the game is cheaper (or free) to begin with, I'm fine with it.
