Re: Please Rate This Review: Sands of Destruction

Odof,

Thanks for your feedback. That paragraph was originally done that way, but I had combined them since they touched on similar topics. I took your suggestion, though, and added a little to...

Re: Ep 47: CONTEST!

I'd say the biggest game-related surprise of 2010 is the number of great Indie games that came out this year: Super Meat Boy, Limbo, Epic Dungeon, Breath of Death VII, and now the Indie Winter...

Re: Please Rate This Review: Defense of the God of War III Script

Cool review, Kitten. I've never played GoW III, but I am familiar with the game and have played the original. For the most part, I was able to follow your argument, thought the bit on Pandora was...

Re: Please Rate This Review: Sands of Destruction

Thanks for the feedback, Rob! I can see what your talking about with the last paragraph, and I had an issue with how it abruptly ended, too. I completely reworked it, I think the end product is less...

Post Please Rate This Review: Sands of Destruction

Sands of Destruction Review

High: Battle music changing halfway through the game to a much more epic piece
Low: Certain bosses taking zero damage for no discernible reasons
WTF: A talking...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Kirby's Adventure for the NES.

Ah, some cool, old-fashion Kirby-ness. Actually, it was nothing too spectacular thanks to repetitive level design, but re-learning who all the bosses were and...

Re: Please Rate This Review: Heavy Rain

You need to lower the word count a bit. You have 1400 words currently, and I think the preferred maximum is 1000. Cut out the stuff that's not needed for your readers to better understand the game...

Re: The insanely artistic and satisfying state of Flash Games.

Wow! "Every Day the Same Dream" gave me chills. So many themes packed into such a simple-to-play game. I was especially struck by the scene with the homeless man. You could devote a good 500 words...

Re: New People, Please Introduce Yourselves

Hey everyone! I'm James, a 22 year-old graduate student from Memphis, TN. I own a Wii, 360, and a DS. Playing video games is my number one hobby, followed closely by talking about video games. I've...

Re: Kirby's Epic Yawn

I have been thinking about picking this up for a two main reasons: art style, and for those "that was neat" moments. I've seen a few of the first levels via Let's Play videos, and thought it looked...

Re: Please Rate This Review: Final Fantasy XIII second opinion

Coyls, I think you make some good points about the game's shortcomings. The beginning the game was extremely linear to a point that damaged the gameplay experience, and I actually think the battle...

Re: Games we wanted to like, but didn't

Metroid: Other M

Let me start by saying that Metroid is my favorite video game franchise, and that I was obviously very excited about this game, but so many little things kept me from truly...
