Re: I Wish I had Picked Up that Game when I had the Chance...

When I was a kid, the Blockbuster near my house sold off all of it's old SNES games at once. They had Chrono Trigger for $15 and I didn't buy it. Instead I ended up with Top Gear Rally or some crap...

Re: Two Interesting Things To Do To Your PS3

I had the same problem upgrading my hard drive as you did.

I bought a used 20GB a while ago which is great for its PS2 capabilities, but makes an upgrade practically mandatory if you intend to...

Re: Professor Layton and the Curious Village

The story is really a secondary element in this game, unlike most adventure games. It's really just a thin excuse to throw lots of puzzles at you, which I don't think is a bad thing at all. The...

Re: GTA4 gets Gamecritics.com on MSNBC

I'm reviewing Dan's review and I'm sorry to say that I'm giving it my lowest score ever. Eleven thumbs up.

For shame.

Re: Piracy through necessity

Didn't this video teach you ANYTHING?

Seriously, though, don't wrestle with this question to hard. If you feel like downloading it then just do it,...

Are you a Collector?

I used to have a massive collection of video games... well, by most standards, I guess I still do. But it's not nearly as massive as it used to be.

For example, at it's peak my original...

Re: Love, Dreamcast

I have a copy of Skies of Arcadia that I would be willing to part with. It's in perfect shape, with the original case and manual. I have the Legends version on Gamecube, which I still have yet to...

Re: Which Cums First

I thought this was a joke question, but it looks like it's developed into a semi-serious discussion.

If you vote games over sex, you're just having terrible sex.

Re: Love, Dreamcast

The Dreamcast had the unfortunate distinction of being one of the easiest consoles to pirate games for; which a lot of people say was it's downfall.

The good news is that now you can find a lot...

Re: Love, Dreamcast

I still have and play my Dreamcast- Dreamcasts, actually. I picked up a second console that I keep as a backup.

The North American library had a lot of good stuff, but the Dreamcast is worlds...

Re: How quiet is the 360?

I've never noticed a ton of noise from the 360, but it's definitely louder than either the PS2 or old Xbox.

It's much better than the Dreamcast, at least.

I suppose that video was made on a completely biodegradable computer then, right?

Re: MGS4 needs to sell 1 million on day one

I'm not sure if I'm following this. Why would MGS4 have to move a million copies on the first day?

Have launches really become that important? Are consumers so jaded that they'll forget a game...

Re: What's the worst game you've ever beaten?

I played Indigo Prophecy to completion as well, and I'm sorry I did. The story started off with such a cool scenario (you've just committed a murder for no apparent reason, and you have to escape...

Re: What of Max Payne?

Max Payne really doesn't strike me as a game that was meant to be taken this seriously. It's absurd on so many levels, and I had always assumed that this was on purpose. It's pure noir-camp...

Re: Resident Evil 4 Wii impressions

It took me about 20 minutes or so to get used to the controls, but once I did, I definitely felt they were better than the standard gamepad. It's much easier to quickly switch between targets than...

Re: Gamestop Hydrocephalics... F'Em.

You didn't still buy those games from that store, did you? I'm sure the employees there don't care if they lose your business, but I'm sure the district manager would- to whom you should be writing...

Re: Props for Dreamfall (Xbox/PC)

Well, thanks for giving me the push I need to actually start playing this game. I bought a used copy about a month ago, and I still haven't even put it in my XBox for some reason. I'll definitely...

Re: I got a PSP for 60 bucks ... now what?

How about Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories?

I've been playing through it on the PS2, and I've been having a good time with it even though it is nothing I haven't played before. It also has all...

Re: Virtual Console: What are you downloading?

Legend of the Mystical Ninja, like all the other virtual console games, as far as I know, hasn't been altered in any way. This includes the stupid 20+ character password system and all of Konami's...

Re: Another reason why Zelda: TP failed

Sorry if my first post came across as insulting Gene, but it's really just way of saying "come on!".

"Come on!"

Re: Another reason why Zelda: TP failed

Oh, come off it.

Zelda: TP "failed"? Don't you think you're being a little harsh? Did a few loading screens completely destroy the game?

I'm trying to imagine what it must be like to be so...

Re: Some Nintendo DS Recommendations

I liked EBA, but I too felt it was hurt by too many weak songs. Strangely, it really wasn't the Ashlee Simpson or Avril stuff that ended up bothering me; I just felt a lot of songs didn't fit in a...

Re: I got a Wii!.......... Now what?

Well, some updates-

I returned Red Steel to Gamestop. After playing with it for about four days, I felt like I was pretty much finished with it, even though I didn't beat the game. Say what you...
