Do you still read video gaming magazines?

Can't remember the last time I have read a video game magazine. I had an EGM subscription that I let expire because I wasn't reading it. I tried reading an issue or two of Game Informer and GamePro (before it was shutdown) but I couldn't commit to subscribing or buying additional issues.

The other game magazines on the market don't really interest me so that leaves me without a video game magazine subscription or even "go-to" video game when perusing the magazine aisle for something to read.

I don't know why it is exactly, but I think it is the Internet. Most of the articles found in game mags can be found online and there is far more up to date news online than there is in magazines. And what's more, it's free.

Am I alone in this? Am I the only one that has given up on magazines or do you still get your gaming information fill from a monthly magazine?

I mainly read online. It's easy to find well written articles on almost any subject, for free, due to the sheer number of good writers around.
Still, I'm reading Edge on my iPod when I don't have internet, and I frequently pick up French mag "IG mag" (200+ pages without ads for 8, not news/reviews oriented but lots of essays, interviews, retrospectives, etc). I particular like the interviews and the transversal articles. They're not necessarily groundbreaking, but since it's the only every two months, I think it's worth it.

I still read them -- mostly just Game Informer, since they give you a free subscription when you sign up for the GameStop club card.

I still like magazines, oddly enough, but they've really sort of priced themselves right out of the market. Why pay $5 or more for an issue of stuff I can read about for free online?
