Anybody with experience let me know what you have the best luck with because I really like the ski jump one as a mini-game against my wife or friends.
After you jump, you imaging the blue dot still being there. Try to keep the red dot(center of balance) in the same spot, as if you were still going down the slope. Also, try to stand up tall as if you are being pulled from the top of your head with a string. Stay Still.

It would also help if the music could be turned off. It gets annoying after a short while. Going back with the B button works on some screens, not on others. Sometimes the program will ignore your preference for female or male trainer.

Worst of all, it's far too easy to unlock exercises and more repetitions (although even more repetitions on all exercises wouldn't hurt either). There's no physiological concept behind the unlocking. I scored zero points on one exercise three times, yet I unlocked more repetitions.

I could on. I have lots of little niggles, maybe 20, yet I love the overall concept. Seems the Japanese are firm believers in taking breaks, so you can't take shortcuts from one exercise to the next.

Wii Fit Plus doesn't fix this - a wasted chance. WFP allows you to make your own training programs but isn't flexible enough. You get to pick exercises, but you don't get to choose how many repetitions of each you want. You don't get to set up different plans for each day of the week.

As a programmer I'd love to fix all these things myself, but NIntendo made the Wii a closed platform, so I can't.

I'd pay for more ball-balancing floors, more slalom tracks, more rivers etc. Did anyone notice that the flooors in the ball-dropping game are inspired by the letters in Nintendo Wii?

One good thing: As the Wii does NOT use a camera, you can do entirely different exercises than suggested. Just pick an exercise that does not involve the balance board, e.g. running, and the Wii will write up the time spent anyway. Pick the Cobra if you know yoga exercises that WF does not offer.

Disclaimer: This is for a Wii not connected to the internet. YMMV, although I don't know why it should.

All you have to do is go as fast as you can and everyone knows how to do that. Just keep blue dot on red one. Then after some work found out it does not matter where you lean after you jump. No need to bend legs or extend. Just push down when you jump and keep balance on the up and down line. The more you stay on that line the farther you will go. The wii will do the rest on its own. Got 350 today.

Has anyone yet beat 404 (202 & 202) I've not yet beat 400 but nearly there, a few over 390 now with 199 highest single jump. Only got Wii this xmas. Has anyone got over 60 on speed before jump?

I have managed to get 404 (202+202) and can not get any more distance then that I believe that is the max, what I found works best for me is jumping last second and staying as still as possible with a slight lean forward to hit the distance. Good luck all.

Re: Wii Fit Tips, FAQ, Help, Tricks, Hints, Cheat Codes and Strategy

I am not sure if I can tell anyone for certain what the secret is, but I did get 200 on one jump and 198 in the same set, giving me a score of 398. I got 200 one other time, but did not get but over 170 to go along with it. I am frustrated if I do not get at least 180--anything lower is a bad score in my book. The one thing I do try to do is stay on the blue dot and stay as still as possible after the "jump".
I am doing this workout for Parkinson therapy (balance), and you probably do not want to know I am an almost
60 year old grandma.

Re: Wii Fit Tips, FAQ, Help, Tricks, Hints, Cheat Codes and Strategy

In my experience of the ski jump obviously align the two dots to get the maximum speed, as for the take off time i found it's best to do it either at the very biginning of the very end of the red area.
and for the in the air part this is what i found:

First, to to strighten your knees and quickly as possible for the greatest jump.

Second, to keep as still as poosible, the more you move drung the jump the less distance you'll go

Finally, Try to remember where where the dots lined up as you went down the hill then keep your dot on the that spot while your in the air, aswell as keping as still as possible

Hi all..... I did this a while ago now but I was really trying to beat all the high scores on someone elses wii (cos we were babysitting someone's kids and thought it would annoy them). Simple.....

Everything that's been said so far is right but for one thing.......

Have a chair (with it's back to you) in front of you and hold onto it as you play. When you jump off the ramp, pushing on the chair with your hands helps you jump better AND holding on helps you balance perfectly and keep the red dot in the middle as you fly.

Then... voila.... record jumps all the day long! Enjoy.

Sorry, forgot to add that i found it best going down full speed, by keeping very still and you need to take off right at the last minute at no less than 60mph.

I also found that it was defenetely better to lean forward with centered balance distribution. The trick is, whatever you do, don't move. Lean forward and stay in that position. If all is done, you should be aiming for a big score, there. Hope it helped!! xx

I've looked on the internet and I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
you should definitly go for the leaning forward so the dot is in the top of the box!

Is there a way to make it stop giving advice/tips/messages after a session? I'm more into the yoga and would like to repeat some of the basic poses but the guy keeps giving old advice. Or is there a way to make a session last longer than 2 min?
