Dawn of Mana – Review

Read review of Dawn of ManaI don’t know what went wrong with Dawn of Mana. Its worlds are bright fairylands; its characters are pretty without looking sickly cute. The gameplay itself is an interesting twist on Devil May Cry-style combo-racking, with few lulls in the action and lots of property to destroy. Unfortunately, a lousy camera and odd difficulty levels make the game much more frustrating than it should be.

Players will be able to interact with their environment like never before, as they explore, destroy and use objects in their fight against fierce—and often funny—enemies. Four difficulty levels, gameplay-altering emblems and a battle arena with collectable pets add customization to the adventure and increase replay value.

Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus – Review

So what made this game so engaging? It turned its lights on parts of the Final Fantasy VII world that were previously alluded to, but not yet revealed. To paraphrase: the story's the thing.

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth – Review

It's funny how time can change your perspective on things. When Valkyrie Profile was originally released on the PlayStation way back in 2000, I liked it a lot but took it to task over certain issues and held back a few points on the score. Now that some time has passed and the current game environment is different than it was back then, I find that my affection for the title has only grown.
