Once the producer of Metal Gear Solid, always the producer of Metal Gear Solid

There will be another Star Wars trilogy from someone other than George Lucas before there is another Metal Gear Solid without Hideo Kojima at the controls.

"I have three concepts for Metal Gear Solid 5 already. What would be ideal for me with MGS5, though, is that we don't do those. If the team picks one of those concepts, I have to get involved again, which I don't want to do."

Just go, Hideo. Sneak out of

Just go, Hideo. Sneak out of the office one day, and go walk the earth like Cain in Kung Fu. Go from place to place, meet people, get in adventures. Or at least make something new. Please. Nobody with a life cares anymore.

What, how dare you. MGS5

What, how dare you. MGS5 will have 180-minute cutscenes which makes it twice as good as the MGS4 ones which were only 90 minutes. Also witness the debut of Solid Frog, the lovechild of Snake and Raiden, who can crawl up walls and hang from the ceiling. This is an obvious commentary on the multifaceted, multidimensional nature of "truth" in a media-obsessed, Western society influenced by the mainstream hegemonic discourse. You'll also love the return of lovable favorites like Olga, Revolver Ocelot, the ninja dude and every other villain who died in the series but have been inexplicably brought to life so we can kill them again. That ain't rehash, it's genius. In a stunning finale, we find out MGS never happened and the entire series was actually a mind control exercise designed to bore videogamers into accepting random, half-baked game design as art. Did I mention genius? It's better than that, it's Kojima!
