X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse – Consumer Guide

According to ESRB, this game contains: Mild Language, Violence

Parents have little to worry about with Rise of Apocalypse's Teen rating. The level of violence and language is no worse than that featured in the various Marvel comic books and movies. There's no blood, sex, or gore to worry about, either.

Hardcore gamers may find the inclusion of online play to be a selling point, but other than that, there's not a whole lot to set this game apart from last year's X-Men game. If playing online is a vital element in deciding whether to buy or rent, then go ahead and splurge on this game—the online element is entertaining.

Casual gamers will almost assuredly want to wait for a price drop. The game is very good, but if you played last year's incarnation, it's hard to justify dropping $50 on a game that doesn't really bring anything new to the table.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Gamers will be pleased to know that the game is fully subtitled so they won't miss out on any of the plot or humorous exchanges between members of the X-Men and the Brotherhood.
