According to ESRB, this game contains: Language, Partial Nudity, Violence
Parents don't have much to worry about. It's a violent game, but the violence is mainly perpetrated against robots, and is completely bloodless. As the T rating suggests, it's appropriate for kids 13 and over. There are some points in the game where it's possible or even necessary to kill innocent bystanders, but the game glosses over that violence so completely that the first time through I didn't even notice it.
Fans of the films will want to flock to this game—even though it's about the worst film in the franchise. It's simply the best Terminator game in recent memory, and works wonderfully with the franchise.
Multiplayer gamers take note: In addition to the main single player game there's a three-stage two-player rail shooter bonus game that takes players back through some of the game's locations in a more shooting-intensive context.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers are in for some bad news: there weren't any subtitles that I could find, leaving the game's plot even more incomprehensible than it already was. There aren't any major audio cues though, and mission information is displayed onscreen, so the game is still playable.
