Mercenaries Consumer Guide

According to ESRB, this game contains: Mild Language, Violence

Parents should be more concerned than the box rating suggests. This is a game about being paid to murder people—sure, there's no blood, but that's the only thing that keeps this one under the ESRB's radar. It's safe for older Teens, but the game's subject matter sits pretty squarely in the M region.

Oh, and for those worried about racist overtones, there's nothing worse than a villain in the game named "Chin Chang."

Grand Theft Auto Fans looking for mayhem of a slightly less vicious and unpleasant nature may find the massive explosions and destructible buildings of Mercenaries highly enjoyable.

Star Wars Fans looking to fly a Russian attack helicopter as Han Solo should pick this up immediately, as it'll likely their one and only chance to do so.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers should have no real trouble with the game. All important dialogue is subtitled, and there aren't any important audio cues that don't have a visual counterpart.
